One thing’s for sure, though- It happened in America in the 1950s, and Chuck Berry took the young musical style and shook it inside out! Berry channeled Country and Blues through the amp of his Gibson Guitar and brought black and white teens together into a recognizable audience, perhaps for the first time in popular music.
