Whether he was fusing country and blues into proto-rocknroll, protecting our nation as a member of the Armed Services, swiveling his hips for the girlies on the Ed Sullivan show, or making classic American cinema, the King was a multi-talented renaissance man who made our lives brighter! Yes, he eventually became a fat, drug-addicted, Las Vegas playing has-been caricature of himself, but whom among us won’t eventually? So slip on your sequined jumpsuit, fry up a peanut butter and banana sandwich with the Memphis Mafia and get ready to party with Elvis!
