The Detroit emcee’s closest competition came from the legendary Beatles. Their greatest hits compilation One is the best selling album of the decade with over 11 million copies sold. Eminem’s win was secured by 2000’s Marshall Mathers LP (10, 204,000 copies), and 2003’s The Eminem Show (9,799,000). Also, the rapper’s 2009 comeback LP Relapse added over 1.5 million in sales.
