lovingfinal.jpgAs Thanksgiving approaches and you gather your family around you in warmth and love, please remember those that have no home to call their own.  Shelter organizations say they are being inundated by families who are losing the battle to stay on top of their bills and are barely able to meet rent and mortgage payments.  Shelter groups say these kinds of people are the new homeless and are just as vulnerable as those individuals struggling to survive on the streets. In this first part of tomorrowpictures.tv’s homeless series Losing Home- “Homeless in the 21Century”, we speak with Samantha Loving, a young mother of two who is living in a Salvation Army shelter after being evicted from her apartment 6-months ago.  Watch Part 2!

The Warren Report: The JFK conspiracy 46 years later.

Warren Report In the days and weeks following the first Kennedy assassination, conspiracy theories sprouted like mushrooms after a rain.  Fueled by the horrifying images from the home-movie of Abraham Zapruder, most found it hard to believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, and read much into the obvious ease with which Jack Ruby was able to kill Oswald before a trial could commence.  In response to the outcry of those seeking to pin the murder of a President on Right wing fanatics, Cubans, Russians or even the Mafia, new President Lyndon B. Johnson formed the Warren Commission to investigate all aspects of the terrible crime.  The commission, named after its head, Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren, spent ten months interviewing hundreds of witnesses before releasing the final report, an epic tome that totaled nearly 1000 pages in length.  tomorrowpictures.TV is proud to present this 1964 CBS News report, hosted by Walter Cronkite, which attempts to shed light on the findings of the Warren Commission.  Watch Part 2!

If you’d like to read the Warren Report, you can do so at the National Archive!

Two Days in Dallas: The JFK Assassination.

JFK in DallasThe death of a friend is never an easy thing to bear, and the immidiate need for answers, both mundane and celestial, can cause fear, despair and confusion enough to nearly incapacitate those left behind.  When that friend is an elected leader, young, charismatic and bold, the anguish can be felt in hearts across the nation.   Such was the case in the United States 46 years ago, on November 22, 1963, when President John F. Kennedy, the bright beacon of an American Camelot, was assassinated at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas.  What follows is the original broadcast of the breaking news of the Kennedy assassination, aired live on WFAA in Dallas.   Jay Watson, the program director at Channel 8, while clearly stunned at the recent events that he himself witnessed, interviews eye witnesses, breaks the latest details, and acts as a conduit for the steadily mounting horror that would rise across the world in the days to come.  In commemoration of the life and works of President Kennedy, tomorrowpictures.TV is proud to present this 5-part series from that grim November day nearly a half a century ago.  Watch Part 2!
