It’s the end of October, which means the baseball playoffs are taking center stage in the sports world! In celebration, tomorrowpictures.TV is proud to present The Jackie Robinson Story! This B-movie Docudrama stars Robinson as himself, and the gorgeous Ruby Dee as Robinson’s wife, Rachel. The acting isn’t great (Ms. Dee excepted), the budget is obviously low, and the story glosses over much of the racism Robinson encountered in his early years, but this is a chance to see one of the greatest baseball players in history in his prime.
