RIP John Hughes: Ferris Bueller Sings Twist and Shout!

ferris buellerWith the passing of the ultimate 80′s man John Hughes, Hollywood has lost a pillar of late 20th century cinema.  The writer and producer of some of the most popular teen comedies of the 1980s, Hughes effected Generation X like few others.  In tribute, here’s babyfaced Matthew Broderick from the 1986 Hughes comedy “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, leading the City of Chicago in a moving tribute to the Beatles and the Isley Brothers. C’mon shake it up baby now, twist and shout!
