While few people in this world can dance like the reigning queen of hip-hop, Beyonce may have some competition… from a skinny man. Ever since her video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” hit the airwaves and the world wide web, Beyonce’s alter ego Sasha Fierce has been steaming up the collective screens of viewers across the world. A rather simple concept for a music video coming out of 2008, her video highlights her killer moves, choreographer, and of course–ATTITUDE! And while this female anthem of sorts has had incredible viral success on YouTube and has spawned many knock off videos of eager fans attempting the daring moves, none have garnered more attention than Shane Mercado dancing in his bedroom.
While Shane’s original video showed his moves split screen with Beyonce, his appearance on the Bonnie Hunt show put him straight in the video with Beyonce thanks to green screen technology–and let’s just say he didn’t do to shabby up against Sasha Fierce. Look out Beyonce and single ladies everywhere, Shane Mercado’s on the loose!
