Based in Los Angeles, the Detroit Illharmonic Symphony is a multi-piece ensemble of musicians (cello, violin, bass, horns, percussion, guitar, piano, turntables and vocals) mixing hip hop, classical and jazz with world rhythms. The group’s members come from varied backgrounds: hip hop, classical, jazz, punk, reggae and soul, and include former members of Dakah, Beats-N-Bluntz, 4 or 5 Dopes and the L.A. Posse (who produced platinum records for LL Cool J, Whodini and Run DMC).

Bugs protests this defacement of his home and ends up getting a pie in the face from the nasty magician. Bugs vows revenge: “Of course you realize this means war.” Bugs shows up at Ala Bahma’s magic show to wreak his terrible vengeance, and then finishes it all off with a nice Hawaiian song.  Get your Bugs on at the Strip!

CabbagetownCabbagetown, a neighborhood east of downtown Atlanta, originally consisted of the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill and the housing built for the factory workers. While Cotton had always been King in the South, that generally referred to the agricultural production of the plant. The actual milling of cotton, the process of turning plant fiber into cloth, was done in the Northern states and even overseas.
