The Clinton Campaign Hostage Situation on ENG!

hillary clintonLeeland Eisenberg, a man wearing what appeared to be a bomb strapped to his body entered a Hillary Clinton campaign office in New Hampshire Friday, took several hostages and demanded to speak to the candidate. Eisenberg released several hostages as the afternoon wore on, but four hours after the standoff began, police said they were still dealing with a fragile situation. Eisenberg, who complained about not receiving treatment for mental health problems, eventually released the hostages and surrendered to a SWAT Team. Democratic Presidential Candidate Clinton was in Washington D.C. at the time, and extra security precautions were taken to protect the former first lady, who still has a Secret Service detail. The man entered the simple storefront office along the town’s main street around 1 p.m., ordered people onto the floor and then let a mother and her baby leave, said State Police.

Cum on Feel the Noize: A Tribute to the Passing of Quiet Riot Lead Singer Kevin Dubrow!

quiet riotKevin Dubrow, lead singer for the 80s hair metal band Quiet Riot was found dead this week in Las Vegas at the age of 52. The cause was not immediately known, but it’s suspected that he may have passed from Rockin Pneumonia or the Boogie Woogie Flu. A neighbor summoned police and paramedics Sunday to the house where he was pronounced dead, coroner’s officials said. There was no forced entry, and no suspicious circumstances were reported, police Officer Jose Montoya said Monday. Quiet Riot was perhaps best known for its 1983 cover of Slade’s “Cum on Feel the Noize”, from the album “Metal Health”, the first by a metal band to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart. Rest in Peace, Kevin…

Meet Janet Planet!

Meet JanetWe call her Janet Planet because Janet has her own time zone. She marches to the beat of her own drum.

In her world there is one channel and it is tuned to J-A-N-E-T!

What do you say to the most sincere and sensitive girl in the world. “Gotta Man?” That’s a good start. In this case the answer in emphatically yes.

In fact Janet is getting married to a guy named Nick from New York. Nick likes the Yankees. I think a few Boston Red Sox fans just logged off. So what! We love Janet Planet anyway.

Janet has been a tomorrowpictures.tv correspondent since the days of us lying to people and telling them our podcasts are going up soon on our network. That was 2003.

Janet is our Katie Couric. People love this woman. She was raised in Texas and there is nothing like a friendly cute Texas girl. Janet could make George Bush blush. She is at ease with anybody and she is bi-lingual in a bi-lingual world. That’s HOT!

Janet has hosted the Oscars for us. She has hung out in night clubs in Hollywood, fashion shows in Los Angeles and interviewed producers in Beverly Hills. She lives in the OC.

Where there is an event there will be Janet. She is the nicest, cutest and sweetest interviewer ever. Hot body too. It’s her Planet and the rest of us are just paying rent. Except for Nick, he’s got an in with Janet. Hey Nick do you think the Yanks can beat the Sox in a seven game playoff series in 2006?

betty boopThis 1932 Fleischer Studios Talkartoon stars Cab Calloway(in his earliest film appearance), Betty Boop and Bimbo the dog. While in the cave, a ghost walrus (whose dance movements were rotoscoped from footage of Calloway dancing) begins to sing “Minnie the Moocher”, with a chorus of ghosts backing him up. After performing the whole number, the ghosts chase Betty and Bimbo all the way back to home sweet home.

Canadian Mountie Taser Death on ENG!

taser deathThe Canadian Mounted Police have been roundly condemned for using stun guns on an unarmed Polish man who collapsed and died in the Vancouver International Airport. The following footage of Robert Dziekanski bellowing in agony after he was shocked by 50,000-volt Taser blasts is graphic and disturbing. Dziekanski, who spoke no English, had arrived in Canada to live with his mother in British Columbia, and mistakenly waited for her in baggage claim instead of passing through customs to enter the main part of the airport. After several hours he grew frustrated and threw a table at a window- the Mounties appeared quickly thereafter and fired at him almost immediately. Authorities initially said the Mounties could not use pepper spray because there were too many bystanders in the area, but this video, shot by another passenger, showed no one else on the scene aside from the police and Dziekanski. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!
